Palio del Fantasma

The Palio del Fantasma (Ghost Palio) is Castel Ritaldi’s main folkloristic event. It features parades in historical costume and all-out competitions between the town’s neighborhoods to win the Palio, guarded by the ghost of Count Ritaldi, who died under suspicious circumstances centuries ago.
